Mike and I are excited to share that we are EXPECTING baby #4. I'm 13+ weeks and we are due October 24. We covet your prayers tomorrow as we go see the specialist for a follow up ultra sound. I was sent down to see te specialist when I went in at 11 weeks because they were concerned about a slow heartbeat. The u/s tech did a lot of measurements of the head and was able to tell us that everything was measuring normal at that time. We were told the slow heart rate could have been caused by an immature electro impulse system. The specialist said, "I could scare you with all the possibilities, but I remember you don't scare easily." Maybe I did make a small impact last time with Noah :)
We left 2 weeks ago not with terrible news, so that was good. I was at peace with "wait and see." Tomorrow we'll see baby again! We are praying that their heart continues to mature and that they got our good genes and won't have Meckel-Gruber Syndrome. We have confidence, however, that God's plan is GOOD and He will take care of us no matter what the outcome may be.
Kristin, what wonderful news!! congratulations.! I hadn't checked your blog in awhile because there weren't new updates, but now I'm going to be checking often! Please update again after your next appointment. I'll be praying for this baby. HUGS, Tara
I'm a stay-at-home wife and mom to 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. (My three- Noah Scott, Joanna Claire, and Emilie Alyse I long to see again in heaven.) I've been forever changed through a relationship with my Heavenly Father, and try hard to impact those around me with the love and joy He's given me.
Otherwise known as T-mac around our house. Trent loves all things basketball, baseball, and soccer. He has a sweet and tender heart.
Drew
Affectionately called Double-D or Drew-vy. He is my no-fear, curious, mischievious son. Drew is full of life and brings much laughter and joy to our family.
Noah Scott
Noah became part of our family in December of 2006. He taught our family so much. He is so missed.
Joanna Claire
Joanna is my first girl. She was delivered unto the Lord in July of 2009. Her heart stopped beating when I was 27 weeks pregnant. So tiny, So missed!
Emilie Alyse
Our family was so looking forward to bringing Emilie home. We were one week away from delivery and her heart simply stopped beating. My pregnancy had otherwise gone perfect and Emilie was healthy. We thought she was our beauty for ashes, our precious gift to love and watch grow up. Yet God, again, had different plans than we did. We miss you sweet girl!
Annalise
Anna is our number 6. God's gracious gift. She has brought so much joy. Her brothers adore her and her daddy and I are loving each day with her! We can hardly wait to see how the Lord will use her, what her little personality will be like, and how all of her brothers and sisters will help shape her into the person she becomes.
